Foreign Ministry Spokesman condemned recent statements by a Dutch MP calling for banning Islam's holy book Qur'an in the Netherlands.

"Such statements reveal not only racist ideas of some western politicians and their aggressive actions against Islam, but also show abysmal ignorance" Zaki said.

The Spokesman hails the condemnation of the Netherlands government saying that it is important to issue legislations to prevent anyone from insulting Islam beliefs.

He also deplored a US Congressman's threats to bombard Islamic holy places in an attempt to gain electoral votes, saying that such threats cannot come from a sane person.

The Foreign Ministry Spokesman also hails the condemnation of the US Administration to the US Congressman's threatens in the time where there is a congestion between the West and the Islamic World.
