Foreign Minister: Changing name of Tehran's el-Islamboli street key for resolving Iranian-Egyptian problems

Foreign Minister Ahmed Abul-Gheit said on 19/5/2007 that changing the name of Tehran's Khaled el-Islamboli street, which carries the name of the assassin of President Anwar Sadat, can resolve 90 per cent of the pending problems between Egypt and Iran.

Speaking on Al-Arabiya satellite channel, Abul-Gheit said such a move would help both countries debate future ties.

Abul-Gheit said Iran should further remove a mosaic for el-Islamboli.
