A recent report released by the Ministry of Trade and Industry said that Egypt's non-petroleum exports began to recover from the impacts of the global financial meltdown.
The report added that the country's non-oil exports reached 1.3 billion dollars in October, compared to 1.2 billion dollars in the previous year.
In statements Sunday 15/11/2009, Mohamed Shafiq, Head of the General Organization for Exports & Imports Control attributed the rise in the non-oil exports to the increase of the export councils in the various spheres.
